Going on the road with Jon Drake & The Shakes
Curtis and Jon Drake will be hitting the road with their respective bands (Our Friends Electric and The Shakes) in early December. The tour will start in Chicago and includes a momentous homecoming show for Curtis, taking place at The Hangout in Elgin, IL (formerly Mad Maggie's).
After Elgin, the guys head out to DC Cobb's in Woodstock, IL, then to The Busted Lift in Dubuque, IA. On the final day of the tour, Curtis and the band will be heading to Rock Island, IL for their first Daytrotter session! We couldn't be more excited for this and will let you know as soon as the session is posted.
If you haven’t heard Jon Drake & The Shakes yet, check out his first EP here. It's free!

Party Time, Excellent!
Everything went on swimmingly at the listening party last week. Friends and family celebrated the release of the album upstairs at Schuba's last Wednesday by drinking heavily while listening to the Life with the Buffalo vinyl as well as some pretty impressive Curtis Evans covers, old and new.
Will Phalen, Tom Schreader, the Inchworm boys, Julie Meckler, Jai Henry, Sarah Holtschlag, Bekah Miller and Jeremy Miller filled the bill and did a bang-up job of embarrassing Curtis all night long.
Jeremy Miller MC'd the evening in a fashion none other could stand up to. Jeremy, you're a genius.
Thank you to all those who made the night a super special one!
